Today, the Wavelets had planned to eat lunch at Sweetgreen, a popular restaurant that serves customized salads in a Chipotle-style. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we saw that the line was far out the door and there was no chance we would be able to eat within the next half hour. So, we planned on having a late lunch on Friday to try to beat the lunch-break crowd.
In the meantime, we ate at Flour Bakery, just down the street from Sweetgreen. Luckily, we beat the line by about five minutes! Since the tables in the restaurant itself were too small to fit 5 people around, we decided to take our (delicious) sandwiches to the lawn across the street from District Hall. We enjoyed a nice meal under the shade of a tree by the harbor.
Looking forward to trying Sweetgreen on Friday. (Thanks for the gift card, DPL!)
