Our program started June 15th at District Hall. Two of our interns were already on Summer break and were in attendance, Naazanene and Sean. Dhruv will appear next week after his school session has ended.
We have discovered that the Oculus Rift needs a very new machine to run properly. In order to facility learning and development each intern will need a VR device. For that reason we are going to start with the Google Cardboard device.
Unity will be our primary development tool as it has a library of documentation and tutorials for the beginning programmer. Google and Oculus provide SDKs to interface to Unity.
