The CellPlant project is slowly coming into shape: the fundamental cell components are added, animations of lysosomes and chloroplasts are looking great, and some work has been done on railings too. This morning, the five interns and Tanwin convened at Milk St. Cafe, located near Downtown Crossing, and merged final thoughts and plans together.

At 11:30 AM, the group took the elevator up the building to the CIC Boston's reception area. Established in 1999, CIC (http://boston.cic.us/) has a mission of providing homes to startups and creating a community for thousands of entrepreneurs. As it grows, Deep Phase Labs might need an office space, and CIC would be able to offer that. With our tour guide, we waded through the floors, took a look at conference rooms, and saw the vibrant members who seemed to enjoy the co-working atmosphere. Perhaps DPL could one day see itself there.

Shortly past noon, after the tour ended, the Wavelets took a delightful walk back to the District Hall, picking some sandwiches at Bee's Knees along the way. The whole day has been fulfilling, with a lot accomplished.
